In the 16th minute, Egg Chasers FC's Rex Attenborough ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gwyn Boyes. Gwyn Boyes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Gwyn Boyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Des Wicks in the 19th minute of the match. Des Wicks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Gwyn Boyes made a huge save. Matthew Brookmans short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Gwyn Boyes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Vine during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gwyn Boyes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Egg Chasers FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
