Great Yarmouth Stadi

Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Great Yarmouth's Freddy Vine started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gwyn Boyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Scrivener, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Damien Nicoll was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Great Yarmouth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dersingham City the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Great Yarmouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nick Burns to maneuver through the defense. Dersingham City's Liam Langley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Dersingham City from getting a goal against them. Gwyn Boyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Best, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Great Yarmouth defense, Brynn Dalby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwyn Boyes. The Great Yarmouth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwyn Boyes should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Ethan Best cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gwyn Boyes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gwyn Boyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaq Kerr in the 18th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Dersingham City got a freekick which was hit by Ethan Best. Dersingham City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Freddy Vine scored to the left of an out of position Liam Langley, making the score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Vine got free with Liam Langley in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Great Yarmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Brynn Dalby came free, but Gwyn Boyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve Welch hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Liam Langley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Vine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Great Yarmouth's Steve Welch shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Liam Langley but with some difficulty. Gwyn Boyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Scrivener in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Scrivener made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dersingham City's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Vine came free, but Liam Langley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Ethan Best shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyn Boyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Welch hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Liam Langley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Keane, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match, Marcus Scrivener tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gwyn Boyes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dersingham City's Liam Langley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Bridge in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Damien Nicoll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Yarmouth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damien Nicoll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Ethan Best reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gwyn Boyes. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 71st match minute, Dersingham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Harrison to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Great Yarmouth's Jordan Straker in action when he in the 72nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Great Yarmouth's Gwyn Boyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Scrivener in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute Marcus Scrivener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyn Boyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Brynn Dalby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Gwyn Boyes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gwyn Boyes was a little too slow when Ethan Best got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-6. In the 89th match minute, Great Yarmouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlton Ashton to maneuver through the defense. Gwyn Boyes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brynn Dalby in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Great Yarmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Ethan Best came free, but Gwyn Boyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Great Yarmouth supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dersingham City's performance. The match ended with a win for Dersingham City.
