Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lance Robertson kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Tosh Goodwin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wadebridge's Andre Champion. Andre Champion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andre Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosh Goodwin in the 7th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wadebridge's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Calvin Clark was slow to take the kick. During this time Egg Chasers FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Egg Chasers FC's corner Calvin Clark fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andre Champion quite easily take care of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Wadebridge's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Marler came free, but Andre Champion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Egg Chasers FC's Bruce Marler in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wadebridge's goalie prevented a goal. Andre Champion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Brookman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shawn Wardell charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shawn Wardell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wadebridge's Shawn Wardell got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 27 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Bruce Marler made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andre Champion was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the game, Egg Chasers FC's Tosh Goodwin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andre Champion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 37 played minutes Wadebridge got a freekick which was hit by Jake Baldwin. Andre Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Clark in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Brookman in the 40th minute of play forced Wadebridge's goalkeeper Andre Champion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calvin Clark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andre Champion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tosh Goodwin to maneuver through the defense. Andre Champion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosh Goodwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonny Wilkinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rex Attenborough struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Andre Champion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egg Chasers FC. A collision led to Wadebridge getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Max Strickland hit a great ball. Andre Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Clark in the 61st minute of play. Andre Champion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Clark, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Andre Champion came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Matthew Brookman. But to his dismay, Matthew Brookman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Tosh Goodwin struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Andre Champion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egg Chasers FC. Andre Champion was a little too slow when Calvin Clark got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 80th minute Bruce Marler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Champion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Wadebridge's Andre Champion got control of the ball when Matthew Brookman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tosh Goodwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andre Champion was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Matthew Brookman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andre Champion. That made the score 0-8 in the 84 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bruce Marler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egg Chasers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruce Marler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Champion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfie Plummer hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Egg Chasers FC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Egg Chasers FC's Bruce Marler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Egg Chasers FC played a much better game than Wadebridge and deserved their victory. The Wadebridge players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
