Spectators: 8428 (Terracing: 6322, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) Spike Wiltshire started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlon Higginson in the 3rd minute of play forced Outwood FC's goalkeeper Dominik Flemming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Flemming stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theo Hayles's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Outwood FC got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Pryor. In the 6th minute, Marlon Higginson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SEA THE STARS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Marlon Higginson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dominik Flemming. Outwood FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marlon Higginson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Dominik Flemming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlon Higginson in the 19th minute of the match. Theo Hayles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominik Flemming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Power in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Outwood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Paul Holstead to maneuver through the defense. If Theo Hayles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Theo Hayles managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEA THE STARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Hayles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Flemming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Theo Hayles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dominik Flemming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Hayles in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Outwood FC booed when SEA THE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Power didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Marlon Higginson made a precise shot to the right of Dominik Flemming. Outwood FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After the first half SEA THE STARS were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Outwood FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jeff Reeves hit a great ball. Theo Hayles struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Dominik Flemming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SEA THE STARS. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Outwood FC's goalkeeper Dominik Flemming, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th play minute Marlon Higginson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dominik Flemming. 0-5. Dominik Flemming made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Marlon Higginson sent off a good shot on target. Ken Bell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Dominik Flemming made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as SEA THE STARS's Theo Hayles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dominik Flemming. That made the score 0-6 after 67 minutes of play. Theo Hayles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ken Bell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Theo Hayles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominik Flemming was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Dominik Flemming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Hayles in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Eddie Power had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dominik Flemming. Outwood FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddie Power was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Kurt Krief fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Clough having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Marlon Higginson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominik Flemming was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. If Jeremy Reeve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Marlon Higginson made a precise shot to the right of Dominik Flemming. Outwood FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. SEA THE STARS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
