The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dominik Flemming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Digby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spike Wiltshire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Şelaru in the 9th minute of play forced Outwood FC's goalkeeper Dominik Flemming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Codrin Şelaru sped through Outwood FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dominik Flemming. Outwood FC's Dominik Flemming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Şelaru in the 18th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Rickmansworth's Felipe Maura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominik Flemming made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Felipe Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rickmansworth booed when Outwood FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graham Foreman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Maura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Flemming read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Codrin Şelaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dominik Flemming was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Outwood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Löfskog came free, but Dominik Flemming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominik Flemming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Digby in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Outwood FC's Dominik Flemming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Digby in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Outwood FC's goalkeeper Dominik Flemming had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Codrin Şelaru. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Codrin Şelaru put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Dominik Flemming. Dominik Flemming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Löfskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Codrin Şelaru in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dominik Flemming, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rickmansworth's Codrin Şelaru was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 63rd minute, Rickmansworth's Codrin Şelaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Rickmansworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codrin Şelaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominik Flemming came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rickmansworth's Codrin Şelaru. But to his dismay, Codrin Şelaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Codrin Şelaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dominik Flemming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codrin Şelaru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Dominik Flemming skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Kurt Krief fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Outwood FC's protests and gave Kurt Krief a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Outwood FC's Kurt Krief got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Codrin Şelaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dominik Flemming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
