Samuel Löfskog made a great header on Rickmansworth's corner, it was just that Great Yarmouth's Gwyn Boyes managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Löfskog got free with Gwyn Boyes in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Freddy Vine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barry Foreman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Gwyn Boyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Löfskog in the 19th minute of the match. Codrin Şelaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gwyn Boyes came out and tried to block the shot, but Codrin Şelaru slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Digby in the 24th minute of play forced Great Yarmouth's goalkeeper Gwyn Boyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Great Yarmouth's Gwyn Boyes got control of the ball when Codrin Şelaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rickmansworth's Codrin Şelaru got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of Great Yarmouth booed when Rickmansworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. 肖辉远 didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damien Nicoll in the 44th minute of play forced Rickmansworth's goalkeeper Barry Foreman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Bridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Barry Foreman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

51 minutes into the match, Carlos Augusto Messias notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Great Yarmouth's Gwyn Boyes. Gwyn Boyes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 55 played minutes Great Yarmouth got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Vine. Vince Digby struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Gwyn Boyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rickmansworth. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Codrin Şelaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rickmansworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Codrin Şelaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwyn Boyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Codrin Şelaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gwyn Boyes. Great Yarmouth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Codrin Şelaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Vince Digby struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gwyn Boyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rickmansworth. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codrin Şelaru in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwyn Boyes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barry Foreman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Vine in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Rickmansworth's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Vine came free, but Barry Foreman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry Foreman was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Brian Keane capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brian Keane really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. In the 85th minute Vince Digby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyn Boyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwyn Boyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Homes in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Rickmansworth getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Des Bishop hit a great ball. Brian Keane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Maura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyn Boyes having to interfere. Rickmansworth walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
