In the 5th match minute, Buckingham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Pavlakos to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Danny Ings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hu Fan Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardel Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Arne Söderberg made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Cvetin Luković got a free kick in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Thom Douglas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arne Söderberg. Thom Douglas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The supporters of Buckingham AFC booed when Elizabeth Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardel Gol in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arne Söderberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Andrew Johnson got a free kick in the 29th minute. Buckingham AFC's Hu Fan Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Scholten in the 34th minute of play. When Harvey Elliot fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buckingham AFC's protests and gave Harvey Elliot a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Elizabeth Three Lions FC booed when Buckingham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Elliot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danny Ings might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hu Fan Yi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danny Ings ran back to his position shaking his head. Hu Fan Yi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Ings in the 37th minute of the match. Daniel Dragnev charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 68th minute, Ed Moore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hu Fan Yi was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Richard Scholten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Scholten really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Söderberg should have stopped the shot. Richard Scholten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
