Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pier De Feo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denny Mullan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nantwich's Denny Mullan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pier De Feo in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Jardel Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denny Mullan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denny Mullan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Blajin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Denny Mullan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pier De Feo in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Nantwich's goalkeeper Denny Mullan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Gol. Reynaldo Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Estebe in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hu Fan Yi saved Buckingham AFC from getting behind. Nantwich were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Buckingham AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frazer Fordham took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Norton got free with Denny Mullan in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Buckingham AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
