The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Will Cutts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Sciotto in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Amerigo Sciotto made a precise shot to the right of Will Cutts. Real Death Ducks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Friggle FC's Arturo Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Bowen in the 9th minute of play. Rex Jackson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Real Death Ducks's Arturo Boruc threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from James Child, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th match minute, Friggle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Vlaicu to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, Real Death Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Armitage to maneuver through the defense. Dale Cummings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Real Death Ducks's Calvin Armitage got a free kick in the 17th minute. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when James Child sped through Friggle FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arturo Boruc. James Child kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Martyn Bowen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Boruc. Friggle FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martyn Bowen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Dale Cummings made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Friggle FC's Matthijs Waidijk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Dale Cummings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Kevin Haseldine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes Friggle FC got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Sciotto. A collision led to Friggle FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rex Jackson hit a great ball. In the 78th minute James Child shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Real Death Ducks booed when Friggle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Cummings didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Friggle FC's Délio Kartal got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martyn Bowen in the 92nd minute of play forced Friggle FC's goalkeeper Arturo Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Death Ducks were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
