The audience was convinced that Leo Bean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Söderberg was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Arne Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edorta Quintas in the 5th minute of play. Arne Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Bean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Heavenly Hooters's Leo Bean fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to Elizabeth Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Daniel Dragnev hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Bruce Pickford shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Söderberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arne Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Griffiths, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Söderberg came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Heavenly Hooters's Todd Griffiths. But to his dismay, Todd Griffiths quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bruce Pickford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Goldthorpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cvetin Luković, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Leo Bean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Arne Söderberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Danny Ings dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Will Goldthorpe, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michail Antonio got free with Will Goldthorpe in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Heavenly Hooters's Severiano Mitxaut seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Severiano Mitxaut the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Heavenly Hooters protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Severiano Mitxaut had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Severiano Mitxaut got a free kick in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Leo Bean notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Arne Söderberg. Arne Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's Luisito Jerano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Söderberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heavenly Hooters were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Elizabeth Three Lions FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Todd Griffiths took the corner. After taking down the ball on Heavenly Hooters's corner Todd Griffiths fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arne Söderberg quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when Elizabeth Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ed Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Leo Bean made the kick off in the second half. Arne Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Bean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cvetin Luković in the 56th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Will Goldthorpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Luisito Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heavenly Hooters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Jerano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Bean's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Arne Söderberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Qian Shu Chong hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Todd Griffiths struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Arne Söderberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heavenly Hooters. 67 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Dragnev came free, but Will Goldthorpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Will Goldthorpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cvetin Luković in the 69th minute of play. Luisito Jerano kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ed Moore kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Zhou Shi Yao replaced Leo Bean. Heavenly Hooters's Felix Hitchcock was substituted for Lauras Maslauskas. In the 78th minute, Ed Moore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, Heavenly Hooters's Luisito Jerano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Söderberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 82nd minute Michail Antonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Goldthorpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Michail Antonio sped through Heavenly Hooters's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Will Goldthorpe. 85 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Ed Moore came free, but Will Goldthorpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Heavenly Hooters's Zhou Shi Yao slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arne Söderberg. That made the score 2-6 after 87 minutes of play. Heavenly Hooters's Jon Elliot was substituted for Bruce Pickford. 91 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Cvetin Luković came free, but Will Goldthorpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Michail Antonio notched a goal, 3-6, to the right of Heavenly Hooters's Will Goldthorpe. Will Goldthorpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Heavenly Hooters supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Heavenly Hooters would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
