After having played for 19 minutes, Carl Speed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kauto Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Speed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Xaverius Xavier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Philip Floyd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hockley AFC's Ma Ting Nan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Oliver Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Jason Seagrave shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Floyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Hockley AFC's Jason Seagrave made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Floyd was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, Hockley AFC's John-Paul Easter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carl Speed to strike the kick off in the second half. John-Paul Easter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Philip Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Oliver Watson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hockley AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Ma Ting Nan took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Floyd. Philip Floyd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 73 minutes into the match, Kauto Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Ma Ting Nan came free, but Philip Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Hockley AFC's Ma Ting Nan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Floyd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philip Floyd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ma Ting Nan's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Hockley AFC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Kauto Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Trevor Lyons took the corner. Roger Cornish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Kauto Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keanu Tate to maneuver through the defense. The Hockley AFC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Hockley AFC's John-Paul Easter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ma Ting Nan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Philip Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Floyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Ting Nan in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hockley AFC fully deserved thier win.
