With his leg Hu Fan Yi managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Heavenly Hooters's Leo Bean fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stamatis Pavlakos took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Will Goldthorpe. Will Goldthorpe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 17thth minute of the game Leo Bean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buckingham AFC's Hu Fan Yi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hu Fan Yi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Bean's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Jude Bowen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Will Goldthorpe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Heavenly Hooters's Leo Bean in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 42nd minute of the match, Todd Griffiths got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hu Fan Yi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 43rd match minute, Heavenly Hooters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edorta Quintas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Scott Sharp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buckingham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scott Sharp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Bean to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Thomas Revell got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jude Bowen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Goldthorpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Piglowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when Buckingham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scott Sharp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buckingham AFC's Hu Fan Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Bean in the 59th minute of play. Hu Fan Yi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Bean's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 75 minutes, Jude Bowen made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Heavenly Hooters's Will Goldthorpe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
