The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Bohemians Praa getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Duncan Corcoran hit a great ball. Leonardo Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanyo Kobakov in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Valiant F.C booed when Bohemians Praa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Corcoran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Pope, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bohemians Praa's zone, Stanyo Kobakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Bezerra came out of the goal and Stanyo Kobakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanyo Kobakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Leonardo Bezerra made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Pope came free, but Jon Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bohemians Praa's Leonardo Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanyo Kobakov in the 27th minute of play. Jon Connell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Endre Sámuel's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Pope came free, but Jon Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanyo Kobakov struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Leonardo Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valiant F.C. Stanyo Kobakov kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Bohemians Praa's goalkeeper Leonardo Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Ting Jian. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bohemians Praa's goalkeeper Leonardo Bezerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Yu Ting Jian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Harper, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Quentin Popes short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Jon Connell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Jon Connell managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Bohemians Praa's Quentin Pope fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Endre Sámuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Connell having to interfere. Bohemians Praa made a substitution. Jez Toulson replaced Endre Sámuel. Leonardo Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanyo Kobakov went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Valiant F.C's Jon Connell got control of the ball when Quentin Pope tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanyo Kobakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bohemians Praa's Duncan Corcoran got a free kick in the 79th minute. Bohemians Praa's Lance Gomersall was substituted for Jude Parry.
