After a defensive mix-up in Bohemians Praa's zone, William Symons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Bezerra came out of the goal and William Symons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th match minute, Bohemians Praa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Des Gill might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Bezerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Des Gill ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexander Bird made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quentin Pope in the 19th minute. Alexander Bird showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endre Sámuel in the 20th minute of the match. Des Gill might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Bezerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Des Gill ran back to his position shaking his head. If Evelio Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Bird took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endre Sámuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Porter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Bezerra having to interfere. Mayo's Guido Pagomari was substituted for Des Gill. Mayo made a substitution. Steve Oliver replaced Will Porter. In the 71st minute, Guido Pagomari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Farmer in the 88th minute of play forced Bohemians Praa's goalkeeper Leonardo Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Bohemians Praa's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Farmer came free, but Leonardo Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mayo booed when Bohemians Praa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Harper didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Bohemians Praa's goalkeeper Leonardo Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Farmer. The Mayo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
