Jon Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Clapham, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goalkeeper Jon Connell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lance Gilchrist. A hard shot 14 in the game by Roger Clapham from a close distance when the talented Jon Connell managed to make a qualified save. Valiant F.C's players were relieved. Yu Ting Jian kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Valiant F.C's Jon Connell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Clapham in the 16th minute of play. Roger Clapham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jon Connell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Kendall got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Roger Clapham. Stanyo Kobakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes in the game Alain Rosenberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Roger Clapham. Lance Gilchrist kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanyo Kobakov in the 40th minute of play forced Hunting High & Low..'s goalkeeper Archie Rowell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanyo Kobakov in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Archie Rowell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Clapham made a kick off. The throw-in from Alain Rosenberg in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valiant F.C's Lucrețiu Ciocâlteu. Archie Rowell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanyo Kobakov in the 53rd minute of the match. Jon Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Gilchrist, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Hunting High & Low.. were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Valiant F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nick Oldham took the corner. The corner led to Hunting High & Low..'s Greg Gavan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 58th minute Stanyo Kobakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Rowell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valiant F.C's Yu Ting Jian got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Valiant F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanyo Kobakov to maneuver through the defense. Jon Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Gilchrist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanyo Kobakov in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Archie Rowell saved Hunting High & Low.. from getting behind. After 76 played minutes Hunting High & Low.. got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Carey-Bertram. Gonzalo Astrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Clapham came free, but Jon Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hunting High & Low..'s zone, Stanyo Kobakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Archie Rowell came out of the goal and Stanyo Kobakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valiant F.C's Dale Fawell was substituted for Stanyo Kobakov. Jon Connell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Clapham in the 85th minute of the match. After 91 minutes Hunting High & Low..'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gonzalo Astrada who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Valiant F.C's corner Gonzalo Astrada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Archie Rowell quite easily take care of the ball.
