Spectators: 9272 (Terracing: 6956, Seating: 2132, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Orlando Efren kicked off to start the match. Romeo Morrell hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 4 played minutes Greenbay got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Efren. A collision led to Modernians getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Finn Maskell hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Efren in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaur Kapten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sam Lunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes, Orlando Efren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greenbay and the Modernians players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Greenbay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Efren to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Txema Cerbera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerry Sollit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Romeo Morrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Thomas Stenger came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Modernians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Stenger couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goalkeeper Harvey Davies had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Lunt. Harvey Davies was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sam Lunt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Modernians's Kaur Kapten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Efren in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Efren in the 29th minute of play forced Modernians's goalkeeper Kaur Kapten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Efren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaur Kapten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Efren in the 32nd minute of play. Greenbay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruben Sheehan in the 33rd minute. The corner led Greenbay's Orlando Efren to fire away a dangerous shot which Kaur Kapten despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Stenger came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Modernians were awarded a corner. Thomas Stenger went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Orlando Efren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaur Kapten was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. When Thomas Stenger fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Modernians's protests and gave Thomas Stenger a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Txema Cerbera to make the kick off. Mesut Özil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaur Kapten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Orlando Efren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modernians's Kaur Kapten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kaur Kapten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Efren went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute Txema Cerbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harvey Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txema Cerbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harvey Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Stenger in the 72nd minute of the match. Orlando Efren struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Kaur Kapten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenbay. Greenbay's Will Alderson was substituted for Mesut Özil. Txema Cerbera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Harvey Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Orlando Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Greenbay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Sheehan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Greenbay getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ruben Sheehan hit a great ball. Harvey Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Stenger in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Ruben Sheehan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaur Kapten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ruben Sheehan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txema Cerbera in the 94th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Harvey Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luka Weber's late challenge caught a Modernians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luka Weber helped the player get up and apologised. Luka Weber kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Greenbay's goalkeeper Harvey Davies, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Greenbay had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
