Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Txema Cerbera to make the kick off. Modernians's Kaur Kapten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Modernians from getting a goal against them. Quentin Cobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Lunt in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Harlow AFC's Nickolaj Nickerson got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Harlow AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Stenger came free, but Quentin Cobb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Txema Cerbera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harlow AFC's Quentin Cobb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Txema Cerbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Cobb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Modernians's Thomas Stenger to fire away a dangerous shot which Quentin Cobb despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Quentin Cobb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txema Cerbera in the 82nd minute of the match. At last the ball reached Eliodor Rădulescu at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Harlow AFC. 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jay Marriot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harlow AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jay Marriot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaur Kapten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ryan Chivers's late challenge caught a Modernians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryan Chivers helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Ryan Chivers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quentin Cobb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txema Cerbera in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Modernians were the better team. Modernians's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
