After a defensive mix-up in Hunting High & Low..'s zone, Alfie Chivers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Archie Rowell came out of the goal and Alfie Chivers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Archie Rowell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfie Chivers, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Chip Holland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfie Chivers missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Archie Rowell right hand side. A collision led to Hunting High & Low.. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ralph Carey-Bertram hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martyn Featherstone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Archie Rowell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfie Chivers in the 51st minute of the match. Lucas Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Clapham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martyn Featherstone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Archie Rowell made a huge save. With his leg Archie Rowell managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when The Youth Project's Martyn Featherstone fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martyn Featherstone had several of the Hunting High & Low..'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Archie Rowell as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rowan Jepson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, The Youth Project's Harry Colman got a free kick in the 71st minute. Hakan Savlet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Young. The Youth Project's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 78 minutes, Greg Gavan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hunting High & Low.. and the The Youth Project players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hunting High & Low..! 84 minutes into the match, Hunting High & Low..'s goalkeeper Archie Rowell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paddy Ackland. Ralph Carey-Bertram charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralph Carey-Bertram the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ralph Carey-Bertram kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Roger Clapham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hunting High & Low..'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Clapham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Harry Colman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Archie Rowell. The goal made the score 0-2. The Hunting High & Low.. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Youth Project were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
