The audience thought a goal was coming when Txema Cerbera got free with Jon Connell in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaur Kapten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanyo Kobakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanyo Kobakov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaur Kapten having to make a save. Modernians's Kaur Kapten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanyo Kobakov in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Modernians's Txema Cerbera got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 37 minutes of play, Valiant F.C's Stanyo Kobakov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaur Kapten was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Valiant F.C booed when Modernians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerry Sollit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Txema Cerbera to make the kick off. Jon Connell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txema Cerbera in the 90th minute of the match. Juliusz Sala hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Modernians's goal looked a bit too open when Stanyo Kobakov came free, but Kaur Kapten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Valiant F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
