The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Kristopher Sykes put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Lucas Young, was totally fooled by Valiant F.C's Gonzalo Astrada, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paddy Ackland in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Connell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Gonzalo Astrada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valiant F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Yu Ting Jian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lucas Young tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Youth Project's Lucas Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Clementsson in the 21st minute of play. Lucas Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Clementsson in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Harry Colman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Youth Project's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Colman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, The Youth Project was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Metcalfe to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Youth Project's Lucas Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Astrada in the 52nd minute of play. Jon Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Colman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute of the game Zbyszek Bury made a throw-in which Gonzalo Astrada played forward. Valiant F.C's Ture Clementsson got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Valiant F.C's Gonzalo Astrada in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Youth Project's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th minute Yu Ting Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Young saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valiant F.C's Zbyszek Bury got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ture Clementsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Youth Project's Lucas Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Astrada in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Yu Ting Jian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valiant F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yu Ting Jian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Martyn Featherstone could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Jon Connell however easily saved by the left post. Lucas Young showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Ting Jian, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Lucas Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanyo Kobakov in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to The Youth Project getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rowan Jepson hit a great ball. Lucas Young came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Valiant F.C's Yu Ting Jian. But to his dismay, Yu Ting Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The Youth Project's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
