Spectators: 10856 (Terracing: 8144, Seating: 2496, VIP seats: 216) The corner led Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ulysses Madureira to fire away a dangerous shot which Neil Long despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ulysses Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ulysses Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neil Long breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Harchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Mitchell Godwin came free, but Neil Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Leguizamón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebati Çiftçibaşı in the 15th minute of play. Neil Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcin Cebula hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Harchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Claydon to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulysses Madureira in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neil Long saved Harchester United from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Harchester United's Ted Beale was substituted for Lucjan Malewicz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Fidele to make the kick off. Neil Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Madureira in the 58th minute of play. When Ulysses Madureira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Neil Long was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Ariel Leguizamón had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randall Burton. Emiliano Fidele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Ariel Leguizamón managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Harchester United's Randall Burton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Neil Long didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kemalettin Torhan went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 70 minutes, Kemalettin Torhan made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Harchester United's Neil Long tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Harchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Kemalettin Torhan came free, but Neil Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harchester United's Neil Long played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kemalettin Torhan in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Randall Burton got free with Ariel Leguizamón in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ulysses Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Clapham Comets F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses Madureira couldn't finish the play. Clapham Comets F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
