Habib Kaâbi might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anis Achour. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Habib Kaâbi ran back to his position shaking his head. Gus Wootton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Håkan Nordgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Gus Wootton slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Symba booed when Dunton Bassett was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Misiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Gus Wootton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håkan Nordgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. The supporters of Symba booed when Dunton Bassett was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hassan Meriah didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Dunton Bassett getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gwidon Misiewicz hit a great ball. Håkan Nordgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz Mrabet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Nordgren came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Symba's Gus Wootton. But to his dismay, Gus Wootton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Kaies Marzouki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
