After 11 played minutes Hay Riadh United got a freekick which was hit by Sadok Benachour. After 15 minutes of play, Kayazak carthage's Riadh Cherni made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lotfi Ghodhbane was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lotfi Ghodhbane was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmed Ben Yahia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 33rd minute Ahmed Ben Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lotfi Ghodhbane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Kayazak carthage's Ahmed Ben Yahia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lotfi Ghodhbane. Lotfi Ghodhbane yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emir Haj Ouertani to make the kick off. Issam Sayah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Anouar Mabrouki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lotfi Ghodhbane was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 71 minutes into the match, Ahmed Ben Yahia notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Hay Riadh United's Lotfi Ghodhbane. Lotfi Ghodhbane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Hay Riadh United defense, Ahmed Ben Yahia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lotfi Ghodhbane. The Hay Riadh United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lotfi Ghodhbane should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Ahmed Ben Yahia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lotfi Ghodhbane was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Lotfi Ghodhbane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Ben Yahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khaled Boumnijel in the 86th minute of play forced Hay Riadh United's goalkeeper Lotfi Ghodhbane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
