Hay Riadh United's Lotfi Ghodhbane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymen Jaziri in the 42nd minute of play. If Chaouki Ghariani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emir Cherni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kais Chouchane having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Zied Sanchou notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Hay Riadh United's Lotfi Ghodhbane. Lotfi Ghodhbane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Issam Sayah was the one to do the kick off. Issam Sayah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Muhammad Azzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Club Olympique Transport⚽'s Aziz Ouertani got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
