After 7 minutes, Anselmo Schiavoni made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hay Riadh United's Lotfi Ghodhbane tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anselmo Schiavoni took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lotfi Ghodhbane. Lotfi Ghodhbane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 18 minutes into the game, Foda's Andrés D'Alessandro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lotfi Ghodhbane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Andrés D'Alessandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Mirnes Šehić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Lotfi Ghodhbane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lotfi Ghodhbane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrés D'Alessandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Mirnes Šehić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 33 minutes into the match, Hay Riadh United's goal looked a bit too open when Mirnes Šehić came free, but Lotfi Ghodhbane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrés D'Alessandro struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lotfi Ghodhbane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foda. Anselmo Schiavoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emir Cherni charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emir Cherni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Hay Riadh United got a freekick which was hit by Emir Cherni. In the 38th minute, Mirnes Šehić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Mirnes Šehić notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Hay Riadh United's Lotfi Ghodhbane. Lotfi Ghodhbane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mirnes Šehić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Foda's supporters rose to their feet, but Mirnes Šehić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lotfi Ghodhbane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Mirnes Šehić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lotfi Ghodhbane was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mirnes Šehić to make the kick off. Lotfi Ghodhbane was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mirnes Šehić showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 55 minute of play. When Anselmo Schiavoni came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Foda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Schiavoni couldn't finish the play. Andrés D'Alessandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lotfi Ghodhbane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mirnes Šehić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Foda booed when Hay Riadh United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamdi Mzali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mirnes Šehić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lotfi Ghodhbane having to interfere. Andrés D'Alessandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lotfi Ghodhbane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Hay Riadh United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Baly to maneuver through the defense. Lotfi Ghodhbane made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Anselmo Schiavoni sent off a good shot on target. If Mirnes Šehić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Foda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
