Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dušan Fedorík started the match with the kick off. Miroslav Fabiš who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Marek Harazin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Miroslav Lažo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marek Harazin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Miroslav Fabiš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dušan Fedorík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miroslav Lažo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Marek Harazin made a huge save. Marek Harazin was a little too slow when Miroslav Lažo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Dušan Fedorík managed to get in a good position for a shot. Obyce FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dušan Fedorík was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislav Tomaschek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 played minutes Obyce FC got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Knapík. Richard Pecha hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Obyce FC's Marek Harazin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Fabiš in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Dušan Fedorík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute of the match Zdeno Kramár shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ladislav Tomaschek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 47 minutes, Antón Karhan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hronec FC's Ladislav Tomaschek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miroslav Fabiš stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Dušan Fedorík's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislav Tomaschek was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 57 minutes, Róbert Jurčovič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hronec FC and the Obyce FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Róbert Jurčovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Harazin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Jurčovič in the 62nd minute of play. Miroslav Fabiš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Harazin having to interfere. Dušan Fedorík blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislav Tomaschek having to make a save. Hronec FC's Ladislav Tomaschek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Hronec FC from getting a goal against them. Marek Harazin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Lažo in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Miroslav Fabiš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Harazin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miroslav Lažo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Obyce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Lažo came free, but Marek Harazin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
