Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) Ľubomír Palko came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Reca's Peter Mašša. But to his dismay, Peter Mašša quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Filip Knapík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alojz Halgoš having to interfere. The supporters of Brutovce booed when Reca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Očipa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Brutovce's Andrej Ďumbier tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Ladislav Pastor notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Brutovce's Ľubomír Palko. Ľubomír Palko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tibor Očipa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ľubomír Palko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Mašša in the 26th minute of the match. Filip Knapík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Knapík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alojz Halgoš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Miroslav Štetka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 39 minutes into the match, Reca's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Knapík came free, but Alojz Halgoš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Reca's Peter Mašša sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ľubomír Palko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislav Pastor was the one to do the kick off. Ľubomír Palko made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Peter Mašša sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Ladislav Pastor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Brutovce's zone, Ladislav Pastor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ľubomír Palko came out of the goal and Ladislav Pastor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reca's Alojz Halgoš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Knapík in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislav Pastor in the 68th minute of play forced Brutovce's goalkeeper Ľubomír Palko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislav Pastor in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ľubomír Palko saved Brutovce from getting behind. František Královič was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Reca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brutovce:s goal. Marián Rakovský hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ľubomír Palko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Mašša in the 84th minute. If Peter Mašša had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reca's Ladislav Pastor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ľubomír Palko but with some difficulty. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Reca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
