Matej Frešo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rastislav Vinarčík. Rastislav Vinarčík dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Piešťany's Rastislav Vinarčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Varga in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Furča Fc's Dušan Glinský got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Matej Varga hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Matej Varga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rastislav Vinarčík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Martin Pištek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rastislav Vinarčík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Furča Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by František Semeno to maneuver through the defense. Piešťany's Lukáš Kliment got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piešťany's Rastislav Vinarčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Varga in the 47th minute of play. If Dušan Glinský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some careless play in the Furča Fc defense, Lukáš Kliment kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matúš Rojko. The Furča Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matúš Rojko should have stopped the shot. If Lukáš Kliment had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Martin Pištek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rastislav Vinarčík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matej Varga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rastislav Vinarčík came out and tried to block the shot, but Matej Varga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Furča Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Lukáš Kliment came free, but Matúš Rojko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Martin Pištek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rastislav Vinarčík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Furča Fc got a freekick which was hit by František Semeno. Martin Jurášek got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dušan Glinský. 83 minutes into the match, Viktor Vengloš had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matúš Rojko. Furča Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktor Vengloš was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Matej Frešo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 91st playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matej Frešo in the 96th minute of play forced Piešťany's goalkeeper Rastislav Vinarčík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
