The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peter Žák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Mergildo in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Bar Scully left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Lula fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Mateo Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Žák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bar Scully in the 16th minute of play. Lukáč Jančich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mojmír Kozár in the 17th minute. Peter Žák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Mergildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pikachu FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bar Scully was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletico Lula's players had a chance to rest. In the 25th match minute, Pikachu FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Trnka to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Mateo Mergildo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Pikachu FK's Peter Žák. Peter Žák was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, Pikachu FK's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Petreje came free, but Peter Žák reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Mateo Mergildo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Lula fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Richard Petreje hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Atletico Lula's Stanislav Gábor got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Lukáč Jančich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Gál in the 45th minute of play. Lukáč Jančich made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Mojmír Kozár sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Atletico Lula were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bar Scully made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Bar Scully shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Žák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Mergildo got free with Peter Žák in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter Žák made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Mateo Mergildo sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Peter Žák successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 64 minutes into the match, Mateo Mergildo notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Pikachu FK's Peter Žák. Peter Žák was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Atletico Lula getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Feliciano Formerio hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Róbert Gál managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pikachu FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbert Gál was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Žák made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mateo Mergildo sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Atletico Lula's Bar Scully ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Žák. Peter Žák yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. After some careless play in the Pikachu FK defense, Mateo Mergildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Žák. The Pikachu FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Žák should have stopped the shot. After 83 minutes of play, Atletico Lula's Bar Scully made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Žák was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateo Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Žák having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Atletico Lula's Mateo Mergildo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Žák made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Mateo Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Žák was a little too slow when Bar Scully got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-14. 96 minutes into the game, Bar Scully was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Lula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pikachu FK the free kick. Bar Scully kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Atletico Lula could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pikachu FK throughout the match.
