After a defensive mix-up in 1.FC Petrzalka's zone, Samo Sagan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Voitiş came out of the goal and Samo Sagan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alojz Dubík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Curea in the 10th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Karol Štefko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TEXAS and the 1.FC Petrzalka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stano Telka kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, TEXAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislav Mišík to maneuver through the defense. TEXAS's Filip Luntzer got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
