G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ivan Erdődy 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. G-TN rest-ART's Grigore Irod got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Róbert Čapo scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ladislav Vališ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ladislav Vališ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Irod, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Ziemowit Majorski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ did a great save. If Jarne Vloeberghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigore Irod took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislav Vališ. Ladislav Vališ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ded Moroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarne Vloeberghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ded Moroz made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ivan Erdődy sent off a good shot on target. Stancho Basarov hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Teofil Budrewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislav Vališ. MIK Focus ŽILINA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofil Budrewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 36 minutes into the match, G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Ded Moroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ben Macrez. G-TN rest-ART's Ded Moroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarne Vloeberghs in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, G-TN rest-ART's goal looked a bit too open when Jarne Vloeberghs came free, but Ded Moroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarne Vloeberghs to strike the kick off in the second half. Ded Moroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukáč Hanigovský in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, one of G-TN rest-ART:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for G-TN rest-ART. G-TN rest-ART:s Ded Moroz showed great skill when he stopped Stanislav Melník:s penalty. Ladislav Vališ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigore Irod in the 56th minute. Lukáč Hanigovský took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ded Moroz. Ded Moroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. G-TN rest-ART's Christer Blom was substituted for Valdemar Oliveira. Ded Moroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zulkarnaen Bramantio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. MIK Focus ŽILINA were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after G-TN rest-ART's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stanislav Melník took the corner. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MIK Focus ŽILINA's goalkeeper Ladislav Vališ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigore Irod in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislav Vališ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MIK Focus ŽILINA's Adrian Ivana was substituted for Jarne Vloeberghs. The corner led G-TN rest-ART's Ziemowit Majorski to fire away a dangerous shot which Ladislav Vališ despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ladislav Vališ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matúš Zvijač, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 92 played minutes MIK Focus ŽILINA got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Ivana. Lukáč Hanigovský charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukáč Hanigovský the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MIK Focus ŽILINA's Lukáč Hanigovský got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ivan Erdődy struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Ded Moroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MIK Focus ŽILINA. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. G-TN rest-ART had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
