George Šega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Zima, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Fabio Vižintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 9 minutes, Djordjo Murakezi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. adidas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djordjo Murakezi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Pišek struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. George Šega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for adidas. If Leonard Zima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Šega was a little too slow when Demirhan Hızır got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. Denis Pišek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Šega having to make a save. adidas's Demirhan Hızır got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 31 in the game by Demirhan Hızır from a close distance when the talented George Šega managed to make a qualified save. NK Polje pri Tržišču's players were relieved. Denis Pišek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but George Šega made a huge save. When Denis Pišek came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the adidas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Pišek couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zvonko Cijan in the 38th minute of play forced adidas's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Zaitsev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Demirhan Hızır cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. George Šega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Mergim Razpet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roq Drlja to strike the kick off in the second half. NK Polje pri Tržišču's Zvonko Cijan got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Pišek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl Lopert took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Šega. George Šega dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Karl Lopert scored 4-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Šega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute Denis Pišek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Šega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Pišek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. adidas's Demirhan Hızır got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 74 minutes, Leonard Zima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. adidas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Zima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Karl Lopert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Šega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of NK Polje pri Tržišču booed when adidas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mergim Razpet didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Šega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djordjo Murakezi in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the NK Polje pri Tržišču defense, Demirhan Hızır kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Šega. The NK Polje pri Tržišču fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Šega should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. adidas had played much better football throughout.
