Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lučano Gregorin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vasilij Verovšek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Avguštin Dermastja. Ravne na Koroškem ND's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lučano Gregorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petrit Oselj charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petrit Oselj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Avguštin Dermastja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lučano Gregorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avguštin Dermastja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Brvar went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Claudio Brvar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avguštin Dermastja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claudio Brvar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ravne na Koroškem ND's Avguštin Dermastja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lučano Gregorin in the 29th minute of play. Radislav Marn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kras Radoš in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Ravne na Koroškem ND's Lovrenc Lovšin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radislav Marn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Avguštin Dermastja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lučano Gregorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Avguštin Dermastja came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Velenje ND's Lučano Gregorin. But to his dismay, Lučano Gregorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Draksler in the 41st minute of play forced Ravne na Koroškem ND's goalkeeper Avguštin Dermastja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Brvar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Avguštin Dermastja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lučano Gregorin in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avguštin Dermastja saved Ravne na Koroškem ND from getting behind. Avguštin Dermastja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Brvar's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kras Radoš to strike the kick off in the second half. Lučano Gregorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avguštin Dermastja having to make a save. Oton Vidmar kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remo Draksler during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remo Draksler hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Claudio Brvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Ravne na Koroškem ND's goal looked a bit too open when Lučano Gregorin came free, but Avguštin Dermastja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Velenje ND's Claudio Brvar got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Dejvid Šmalc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Velenje ND's Avguštin Dermastja threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lučano Gregorin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Claudio Brvar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Avguštin Dermastja when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Lučano Gregorin came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Velenje ND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lučano Gregorin couldn't finish the play. Avguštin Dermastja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lučano Gregorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ravne na Koroškem ND's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lučano Gregorin 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. When Lučano Gregorin got free in front of the goal in the 89th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Avguštin Dermastja was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kras Radoš struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Radislav Marn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ravne na Koroškem ND. Lovrenc Lovšin struck a weak shot in the 98th minute.
