Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lučano Gregorin started the match with the kick off. Kras Radoš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute Lovrenc Lovšin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radislav Marn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Lovrenc Lovšin made a precise shot to the right of Radislav Marn. Velenje ND's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Radislav Marn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lovrenc Lovšin in the 13th minute of play. Ognjeslav Trampuš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Avguštin Dermastja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ravne na Koroškem ND getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dejvid Šmalc hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Lučano Gregorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Ravne na Koroškem ND defense, Claudio Brvar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avguštin Dermastja. The Ravne na Koroškem ND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avguštin Dermastja should have stopped the shot. Radislav Marn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kras Radoš, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oton Vidmar during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Ravne na Koroškem ND got a freekick which was hit by Oton Vidmar. After 31 minutes of play, Velenje ND's Claudio Brvar made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avguštin Dermastja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudio Brvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Avguštin Dermastja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lučano Gregorin in the 38th minute of play. Claudio Brvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avguštin Dermastja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Brvar in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kras Radoš to strike the kick off in the second half. Ravne na Koroškem ND's Lovrenc Lovšin got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ravne na Koroškem ND's Avguštin Dermastja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Brvar in the 56th minute of play. Lučano Gregorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play, Velenje ND's Lučano Gregorin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avguštin Dermastja was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the game, Lučano Gregorin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Avguštin Dermastja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kras Radoš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ravne na Koroškem ND getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Oton Vidmar hit a great ball. Vasilij Verovšek, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Claudio Brvar struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Avguštin Dermastja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velenje ND. Claudio Brvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ravne na Koroškem ND's Avguštin Dermastja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lučano Gregorin in the 89th minute of play. Velenje ND's Claudio Brvar got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 played minutes, Velenje ND's Migel Šmit shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Avguštin Dermastja came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Velenje ND reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Velenje ND fully deserved thier win.
