Tibor Iglič came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Godovič MNK's Dujo Ogorelec. But to his dismay, Dujo Ogorelec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dujo Ogorelec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tibor Iglič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Slovenska Bistrica FC got a freekick which was hit by Gašper Klučar. The tension between the Godovič MNK and the Slovenska Bistrica FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Godovič MNK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Slovenska Bistrica FC:s goal. Alojz Golob came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Slovenska Bistrica FC's Tomi Krebelj. But to his dismay, Tomi Krebelj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dražan Banović struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Tibor Iglič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godovič MNK. The supporters of Godovič MNK booed when Slovenska Bistrica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adem Pere didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Slovenska Bistrica FC's zone, Dujo Ogorelec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibor Iglič came out of the goal and Dujo Ogorelec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Huso Ajnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Godovič MNK's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Kisilak came free, but Alojz Golob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibor Iglič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dražan Banović in the 47th minute of the match. Dražan Banović kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dražan Banović to strike the kick off in the second half. Dražan Banović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Iglič having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Dražan Banović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tibor Iglič was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tibor Iglič didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dujo Ogorelec went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Adem Pere kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes Slovenska Bistrica FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sefedin Kramžar who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sefedin Kramžar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tibor Iglič quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 70th minute, one of Godovič MNK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Godovič MNK. 76 minutes into the game, Godovič MNK's Dražan Banović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibor Iglič made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Godovič MNK's Alojz Golob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Kisilak in the 80th minute of play. Tomi Krebelj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alojz Golob having to interfere. Tibor Iglič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeid Lavrič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alojz Golob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Kisilak in the 91st minute of the match. Alojz Golob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Kisilak in the 93rd minute of play. Dražan Banović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Iglič having to interfere. Godovič MNK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Slovenska Bistrica FC for a fine match.
