Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvo Kaker started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Španinger in the 2nd minute of play forced Gabrovka ND's goalkeeper Samuel Kerbler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Hrastar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Cerkvenik, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Tibor Španinger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Kerbler having to make a save. If Tibor Španinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Radovan Derča put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Kerbler. Samuel Kerbler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Španinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Kerbler was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Tibor Španinger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tibor Španinger really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Ian Cerkvenik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bert Hrastar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Gabrovka ND's Silvo Kaker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bert Hrastar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Radovan Derča could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Samuel Kerbler made a huge save. Radovan Derča received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Samuel Kerbler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tibor Španinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Gabrovka ND's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Španinger came free, but Samuel Kerbler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 49 minutes, Radovan Derča managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vodice ND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radovan Derča was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After 53 minutes of play, Vodice ND's Tibor Španinger made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Kerbler was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th match minute, Vodice ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andi Drlja to maneuver through the defense. Ian Cerkvenik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bert Hrastar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Tibor Španinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Kerbler having to interfere. Bert Hrastar was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Silvo Kaker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvo Kaker really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Darko Ivnik might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bert Hrastar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darko Ivnik ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Španinger in the 78th minute of play forced Gabrovka ND's goalkeeper Samuel Kerbler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radovan Derča received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Samuel Kerbler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andi Drlja fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vodice ND's protests and gave Andi Drlja a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Vodice ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andi Drlja to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Tibor Španinger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vodice ND fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Tibor Španinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Kerbler having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gabrovka ND players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vodice ND.
