Argio Vukićević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Antoni Malik made a huge save. Antoni Malik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mato Zajtl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venco Zaman's late challenge caught a ULIČARJI PIRAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venco Zaman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ULIČARJI PIRAN booed when NK Krka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venco Zaman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demeter Pozne, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bojči Kukovič in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. Argio Vukićević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Antoni Malik made a huge save. When Mato Zajtl fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK Krka's protests and gave Mato Zajtl a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Bojči Kukovič's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danjel Korez was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. NK Krka's Argio Vukićević got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bojči Kukovič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Danjel Korez made a huge save. After some careless play in the ULIČARJI PIRAN defense, Mato Zajtl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoni Malik. The ULIČARJI PIRAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoni Malik should have stopped the shot. A collision led to NK Krka getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Petko Kajtna hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldian Škoflek in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danjel Korez saved NK Krka from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, ULIČARJI PIRAN's Bojči Kukovič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danjel Korez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When ULIČARJI PIRAN's Aldian Škoflek in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Antoni Malik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mato Zajtl, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. ULIČARJI PIRAN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
