Radoslav Finkšt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Božidar Pavalec hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Novica Dragovan struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Džon Čerenak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirna FC. Ivan Gratzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Novica Dragovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Radoslav Finkšt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Džon Čerenak was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gregorij Volmut. 24 minutes into the game, Božidar Pavalec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tobi Dobrina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demis Stanič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobi Dobrina having to interfere. Demis Stanič might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobi Dobrina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demis Stanič ran back to his position shaking his head. Demis Stanič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Gratzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobi Dobrina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Božidar Pavalec in the 43rd minute of the match. Božidar Pavalec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tobi Dobrina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gottschee's Džon Čerenak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Novica Dragovan in the 49th minute of play. After 49 minutes of play, Mirna FC's Novica Dragovan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Džon Čerenak was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Božidar Pavalec made the kick off in the second half. Ivan Gratzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tobi Dobrina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demis Stanič in the 61st minute. Demis Stanič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobi Dobrina having to interfere. When Ivan Gratzer came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Mirna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Gratzer couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Gratzer in the 73rd minute of play forced Gottschee's goalkeeper Džon Čerenak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Demis Stanič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Božidar Pavalec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobi Dobrina having to interfere. Demis Stanič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Radoslav Finkšt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. In the 85th minute, Radoslav Finkšt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Demis Stanič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobi Dobrina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demis Stanič in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Mirna FC's goalkeeper Tobi Dobrina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demis Stanič. In the 99thth minute of the game Novica Dragovan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gottschee's Džon Čerenak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mirna FC's Ivan Gratzer got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
