Spectators: 7989 (Terracing: 5993, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Novica Dragovan kicked off to start the match. Ernest Tajnšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobi Dobrina having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mirna FC's zone, Ernest Tajnšek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobi Dobrina came out of the goal and Ernest Tajnšek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slaviša Varašanec charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Slaviša Varašanec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Gratzer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elio Bizjak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. When Moreno Čižić fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bad Blue Boys's protests and gave Moreno Čižić a yellow card for diving instead. Moreno Čižić kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Novica Dragovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Elio Bizjak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elio Bizjak came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Mirna FC's Ivan Gratzer. But to his dismay, Ivan Gratzer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ivan Gratzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Elio Bizjak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tian Strle charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tian Strle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tian Strle hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

If Vitodrag Hižak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elio Bizjak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Novica Dragovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitodrag Hižak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobi Dobrina having to interfere. Tobi Dobrina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Tajnšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute of the match Baldomir Rutnik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobi Dobrina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Bad Blue Boys getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Štefan Trošt hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Mirna FC's Novica Dragovan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elio Bizjak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. George Miklavčič hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Elio Bizjak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Novica Dragovan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 79 minute of play. Ernest Tajnšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Tajnšek in the 91st minute of play forced Mirna FC's goalkeeper Tobi Dobrina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mirna FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
