Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cerkno MNK's Boško Luštrik started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Cerkno MNK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Matey Mihovec hit a great ball. The Ribnica na Pohorju FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Ribnica na Pohorju FC's Mervan Ahčin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Boško Luštrik came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cerkno MNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boško Luštrik couldn't finish the play. In the 8th match minute, Ribnica na Pohorju FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricij Rangus to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ribnica na Pohorju FC's zone, Ažbe Mavri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franko Lukman came out of the goal and Ažbe Mavri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucijan Božič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilko Intihar in the 13th minute of the match. Franko Lukman made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ažbe Mavri sent off a good shot on target. Franko Lukman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boško Luštrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Ažbe Mavri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 24th minute Vilko Intihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucijan Božič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ribnica na Pohorju FC's Miro Kunej got a free kick in the 25th minute. Franko Lukman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arne Kac. After 29 played minutes Ribnica na Pohorju FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricij Rangus. If Ažbe Mavri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mervan Ahčin came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ribnica na Pohorju FC fans jumped to their feet. Cerkno MNK's Lucijan Božič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilko Intihar in the 34th minute of play. Vital Miško's late challenge caught a Ribnica na Pohorju FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vital Miško helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cerkno MNK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Vital Miško hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Miro Kunej shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucijan Božič showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cerkno MNK's Boško Luštrik got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cerkno MNK's zone, Vilko Intihar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucijan Božič came out of the goal and Vilko Intihar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilko Intihar to strike the kick off in the second half. Franko Lukman came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cerkno MNK's Ažbe Mavri. But to his dismay, Ažbe Mavri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ažbe Mavri in the 57th minute of play forced Ribnica na Pohorju FC's goalkeeper Franko Lukman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boško Luštrik in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franko Lukman saved Ribnica na Pohorju FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ažbe Mavri in the 62nd minute of play forced Ribnica na Pohorju FC's goalkeeper Franko Lukman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boško Luštrik in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franko Lukman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ažbe Mavri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franko Lukman was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Franko Lukman came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Cerkno MNK's Ažbe Mavri. But to his dismay, Ažbe Mavri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A hard shot by Hinko Peulić from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Lucijan Božič's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Cerkno MNK's Boško Luštrik in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ribnica na Pohorju FC's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Cerkno MNK's Ažbe Mavri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franko Lukman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mervan Ahčin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucijan Božič firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ažbe Mavri in the 90th minute of play forced Ribnica na Pohorju FC's goalkeeper Franko Lukman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ribnica na Pohorju FC's zone, Ažbe Mavri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franko Lukman came out of the goal and Ažbe Mavri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute, Boško Luštrik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franko Lukman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ribnica na Pohorju FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cerkno MNK.
