Lipica's Daš Megla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Lipica from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Lipica's Daš Megla got control of the ball when Arnel Stonič tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Lipica's goal looked a bit too open when Brecht Tombeurs came free, but Daš Megla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 9 in the game by Arnel Stonič from a close distance when the talented Daš Megla managed to make a qualified save. Lipica's players were relieved. 10 minutes into the match, Lipica's goalkeeper Daš Megla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnel Stonič. In the 11th minute, Melvin Vorih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lipica's Daš Megla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Lipica from getting a goal against them. Daš Megla made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Arnel Stonič sent off a good shot on target. If Žarko Nemanič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Daš Megla managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Šempeter GF's Arnel Stonič fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daš Megla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnel Stonič in the 27th minute. In the 29th match minute, Lipica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alen Višnovar to maneuver through the defense. Lipica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Arnel Stonič scored to the left of an out of position Daš Megla, making the score, 1-0. After 38 played minutes Šempeter GF got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Račečič. Arnel Stonič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 45 in the game by Arnel Stonič from a close distance when the talented Daš Megla managed to make a qualified save. Lipica's players were relieved. Arnel Stonič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Daš Megla made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 50th minute, Vjetko Omahne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Predrag Jokić thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Daš Megla, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 2-0. Daš Megla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brecht Tombeurs in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnel Stonič in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daš Megla saved Lipica from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnel Stonič in the 70th minute of play forced Lipica's goalkeeper Daš Megla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daš Megla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnel Stonič in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lipica's zone, Brecht Tombeurs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daš Megla came out of the goal and Brecht Tombeurs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Melvin Vorih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almin Knific saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brecht Tombeurs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daš Megla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melvin Vorih got free with Almin Knific in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brecht Tombeurs struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Daš Megla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Šempeter GF. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnel Stonič in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daš Megla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Šempeter GF's Brecht Tombeurs got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Arnel Stonič sped through Lipica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daš Megla. 94 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Šempeter GF's Arnel Stonič fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Lipica's goal looked a bit too open when Brecht Tombeurs came free, but Daš Megla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Šempeter GF had played much better football throughout.
