In the 12th minute, Lev Župec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boško Vukićević in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zvezdan Tominšek saved Lašče FC from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Lev Župec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zvezdan Tominšek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Darej Černič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirijan Paurič, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lašče FC's goalkeeper Zvezdan Tominšek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lašče ND's Darej Černič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirijan Paurič in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lašče ND's Šeherzad Plesničar got a free kick in the 34th minute. Zvezdan Tominšek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boško Vukićević, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Zvezdan Tominšek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lev Župec's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. If Lev Župec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Lev Župec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lašče ND fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Boško Vukićević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mirijan Paurič to make the kick off. Ugo Žalac hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Mirijan Paurič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lašče ND booed when Lašče FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugo Žalac didn't get a good kick on the ball.
