Spectators: 8517 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 2117, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vjetko Omahne kicked off to start the match. Sergej Vrtačič hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Stevan Metzkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daš Megla having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stevan Metzkar in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daš Megla saved Lipica from getting behind. In the 11th minute Žarko Nemanič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Stevan Metzkar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trebnje NK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stevan Metzkar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daš Megla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Vjetko Omahne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Vjetko Omahne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 23rd match minute, Trebnje NK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saša Ajdič to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Slavček Bršek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lipica's zone, Saša Ajdič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daš Megla came out of the goal and Saša Ajdič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes, Matej Štrumbelj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trebnje NK and the Lipica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matej Štrumbelj kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Trebnje NK's goal looked a bit too open when Vjetko Omahne came free, but Ricardinho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Stevan Metzkar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lipica's Daš Megla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Rajmund Šolar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 66thth minute of the game Stevan Metzkar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lipica's Daš Megla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saša Ajdič in the 68th minute of play forced Lipica's goalkeeper Daš Megla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Stevan Metzkar put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Daš Megla. Stevan Metzkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Daš Megla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daš Megla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stevan Metzkar's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The supporters of Lipica booed when Trebnje NK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saša Ajdič didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daš Megla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stevan Metzkar in the 92nd minute of play. If Saša Ajdič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stevan Metzkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute Blagoje Popivoda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daš Megla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
