In the 5thth minute of the game Gösta Haeger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ambjörby BK's Patrick Lilja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 8 played minutes Motståndarlaget got a freekick which was hit by Charles Nordin. Gösta Haeger might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Lilja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gösta Haeger ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrick Lilja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gösta Haeger in the 19th minute. If Charles Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Haeger's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patrick Lilja firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 27th minute, Motståndarlaget's Bernard Grabowicz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernard Grabowicz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Motståndarlaget protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernard Grabowicz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Ambjörby BK a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Egon Björkdal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Motståndarlaget's Sven Kling. 1-1. If Tobias Rudberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Tobias Rudberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Lilja. Tobias Rudberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 38th minute Doni Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gösta Haeger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Doni Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Lilja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Haeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Lilja made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gösta Haeger sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Gösta Haeger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Lilja. Ambjörby BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gösta Haeger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Sven Kling made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Lukas Wiman sent off a good shot on target. Patrick Lilja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Rudberg in the 65th minute of the match. Patrick Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Haeger, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Haeger in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Lilja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambjörby BK's attentive Egon Björkdal managed to snatch the ball when Rolf Fransson made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Motståndarlaget's Gösta Haeger got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Haeger in the 84th minute of play forced Ambjörby BK's goalkeeper Patrick Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolf Fransson made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gösta Haeger immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Haeger in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Lilja saved Ambjörby BK from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Motståndarlaget fully deserved thier win.
