The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Markus Tingelholm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 6th minute of the match, Viktor Brun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Markus Tingelholm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 贺超邦 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Fors in the 14th minute of the match. Jerry Vallin charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerry Vallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Jerry Vallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Viktor Brun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Markus Tingelholm. The goal made the score 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Per-Åke Hökkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Markus Tingelholm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Markus Tingelholm was a little too slow when Per-Åke Hökkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. Dick Hamnberg struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Markus Tingelholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunshiine FF. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Markus Tingelholm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute, Dick Hamnberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Tingelholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 41 minutes into the game, Dick Hamnberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Markus Tingelholm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sunshiine FF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sune Nyman hit a great ball.

Jerry Vallin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Claes Eliasson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markus Tingelholm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jesper Bergfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Nils-Erik Hegg's late challenge caught a Sunshiine FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Erik Hegg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, DIF Fotboll's Nils-Erik Hegg got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Claes Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunshiine FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claes Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Dick Hamnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Tingelholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Sunshiine FF's Per-Åke Hökkvist made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Tingelholm was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jerry Vallin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to DIF Fotboll getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jerry Vallin hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Claes Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Tingelholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sunshiine FF's Daniel Asserlind managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Urban Albom in the 89 minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Viktor Brun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Tingelholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sunshiine FF fully deserved thier win.
