Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Herman Sörman got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Vännäs booed when Forshaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Ahlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Vännäs's Anders Sjöberg threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herman Sörman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vännäs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan-Olof Lundberg in the 6th minute. Johan Dalström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Anders Sjöberg made a huge save. With a little luck, Forshaga's Anders Sjöberg got control of the ball when Johan Dalström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johan Dalström made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 13thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Anders Sjöberg would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Hubert Nordstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forshaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Nordstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Ek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Motta went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 20 played minutes Forshaga got a freekick which was hit by Johan Ahlin. In the 24th minute, Herman Sörman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anders Sjöberg. The goal made the score 2-1. 30 minutes into the game, Forshaga's Hubert Nordstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Ek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Rune Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan Dalströms short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Anders Sjöberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 38 minutes Forshaga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan-Olof Lundberg who took care of the corner kick. Forshaga's Anders Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pilberg in the 39th minute of play. Conrado Motta took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Ek. Michael Ek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Hubert Nordstedt struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Michael Ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forshaga.

The wind increased when Conrado Motta made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Conrado Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Ek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Vännäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pilberg to maneuver through the defense. Joacim Rönn hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Forshaga's Hubert Nordstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Vännäs booed when Forshaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herman Sörman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Sjöberg having to interfere. Anders Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pilberg in the 65th minute of play. If Hubert Nordstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Motta struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Michael Ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forshaga. The crowd rose to their feet as Hubert Nordstedt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michael Ek. That made the score 2-4 in the 73 minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Peder Bergfeldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Michael Ek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peder Bergfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Ek made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Peder Bergfeldt sent off a good shot on target. If Conrado Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Conrado Motta lined in a short shot 2-6 behind a frustrated Michael Ek. Forshaga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
