With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Säv in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Godholm saved Gästrike-hammarby BF from getting behind. After 14 played minutes Högsjö BK got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Macedo. After a defensive mix-up in Högsjö BK's zone, Michel Isaksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Uggla came out of the goal and Michel Isaksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Michel Isaksson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leif Uggla. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. When Högsjö BK's Alfred Sjöberg in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gästrike-hammarby BF's goalie prevented a goal. Leif Uggla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Winström, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Gästrike-hammarby BF's Olof Fors ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leif Uggla. The tension between the Högsjö BK and the Gästrike-hammarby BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gästrike-hammarby BF booed when Högsjö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Högsjö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Magnus Fagerberg came free, but Leif Uggla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Olof Fors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Uggla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Uggla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Högsjö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Fors came free, but Leif Uggla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Olof Fors recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leif Uggla. Olof Fors showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Sjöberg was the one to do the kick off. If Olof Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Michel Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Uggla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Högsjö BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Uggla should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Gästrike-hammarby BF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
