Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Philip Högman started the match with the kick off. Philip Högman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig Månsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Erik Lundgren's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Erik Lundgren in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Månsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per Rudqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Västerberg in the 11th minute of the match. Henric Vestlund hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Jonny Kellmans short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Per Rudqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Kjell Björkkvist came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Yxhults IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Björkkvist couldn't finish the play. Stig Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Erik Lundgren in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Philip Högman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charlies änglar's Per Rudqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Charlies änglar from getting a goal against them. In the 36th match minute, Yxhults IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Björkkvist to maneuver through the defense. Stig Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Charlies änglar's Philip Högman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig Månsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Yxhults IK's zone, Philip Högman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Månsson came out of the goal and Philip Högman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Charlies änglar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Vestlund to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Charlies änglar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Björkkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. If Philip Högman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Björkkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per Rudqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Stig Månsson was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Philip Högman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Philip Högman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Stig Månsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd minute, Philip Högman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charlies änglar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Stig Månsson was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Nils-Erik Lundgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nils-Erik Lundgren really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. A well placed Nils-Erik Lundgren short distance shot in the 74th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Nils-Erik Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonny Kellman struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Per Rudqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yxhults IK. Nils-Erik Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Stig Månsson made a huge save.
