The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Johansson during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Einar Hägg kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Gulliksson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Sveg IF's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Hellström came free, but Johannes Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Sveg IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Larsson to maneuver through the defense. When Dan Johansson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 17 minutes had been played. A collision led to Söder Bröder Glöder getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dan Johansson hit a great ball. Gottfrid Söder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Klint having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georg Larsson in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Klint prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Georg Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Klint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Klint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Sveg IF's Georg Larsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Klint narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Emil Klint managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Sveg IF's Gottfrid Söder fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gottfrid Söder was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Sveg IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Georg Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Emil Klint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Erik Bållström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Larsson in the 65th minute of play forced Söder Bröder Glöder's goalkeeper Emil Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Klint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gottfrid Söder's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Jens-Erik Bållström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Georg Larsson came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Sveg IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Larsson couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sveg IF booed when Söder Bröder Glöder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Bokelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georg Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Alfred Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
