After 3 played minutes Sibiriska SportSällskapet got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Nyqvist. Lars Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Harry Knutsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Börje Lindberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of HNICs GuldGossar's Harry Knutsson. Harry Knutsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the match, Sibiriska SportSällskapet's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Eliasson came free, but Edwin Kinnman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sibiriska SportSällskapet's Börje Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Lars Ström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sibiriska SportSällskapet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Ström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Gunnar Asklöv ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwin Kinnman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Börje Lindberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Knutsson. HNICs GuldGossar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Lindberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 29th minute, Börje Lindberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Harry Knutsson, passed just outside the right post. When Lars Ström came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Sibiriska SportSällskapet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Ström couldn't finish the play. Andreas Eliasson charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Eliasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manfred Nyqvist hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Stålman during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of HNICs GuldGossar booed when Sibiriska SportSällskapet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Stålman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sibiriska SportSällskapet's Edwin Kinnman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Asklöv in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Peter Stålman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harry Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Lindberg in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Asklöv stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. HNICs GuldGossar's Harry Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Lindberg in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Börje Lindberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Knutsson was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. When Börje Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Sibiriska SportSällskapet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Lindberg couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Börje Lindberg sped through HNICs GuldGossar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harry Knutsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Asklöv in the 68th minute of play forced Sibiriska SportSällskapet's goalkeeper Edwin Kinnman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to HNICs GuldGossar getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Per-Erik Hääger hit a great ball. Börje Lindberg took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Knutsson. Harry Knutsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Börje Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Knutsson having to interfere. If Börje Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manfred Nyqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Harry Knutsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Börje Lindberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HNICs GuldGossar's Harry Knutsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manfred Nyqvist struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Harry Knutsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sibiriska SportSällskapet. After a rather tough play, HNICs GuldGossar's Andreas Eliasson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Börje Lindberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harry Knutsson having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Sibiriska SportSällskapet players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
